Gabriella Montez

Was once known as the freaky math girl. She had beauty but no one could see past the brains. That was until she met Troy Bolton the love of her life, or was the love of her life. After comming to Albuquerque, where she met up again with Troy, they fell in love, got the triple win and won over the entire East-High population. All except one person the Ice-Queen.

So this is where my story began............................

It was a sunny, blue-skied day in Albuquerque and that encouraged the once beautiful 17 year old Gabriella Montez to get out of bed. Walking to her bathroom she sighed at the sight that reflected herself in the mirror. A nasty, large blue and black bruise covered the entire left side of her face. She grabbed the concealer that she always had, ever since the abuse started 2 months ago. The 2 months that it took for her perfect life to be shattered. Your probably wondering why her life was shattered and lets just say you'll find out soon enough.

Grabbing her keys she headed downstairs as quietly as she could, she didn't want to wake her drunk step-father up and risk a morning bashing. See her mother was always away on business and any time that she was at home her 'loving husband and doing step-father' Alessandro Cruz would always be on his best behaviour and treat both of the women like gold, so naturally Gabriella felt guilty about teling her mother about the abuse. But not this time, when her mother came back in 2 weeks Gabriella would tell her mother everything, about how screwed up her life was and how her once perfect daughter was broken and hurt. Packing the lunch she made the night before she rushed out the door and headed towards a place where she was once loved and treated like gold, now where she is definitely the most hated person. East-High.

She kept her head bowed as she tried her best to ignore the snickers and rude-comments that everyone was saying about her. What everyone didn't know was that Gabriella was innocent and that they were all just pawns in the Ice-Queens plan, which I think I should probably tell you.

2 MONTHS AGO FLASHBACK

Sharpay Evans thought that the only way to get her guy back was to get him to fall out of love with Gabriella. Duh, she thought but the question was how she was going to do that. So after comming up witha cruel plan, she went to her twin brother Ryan. She threatened to tell the entire East-High student body that he was gay if he didn't help her with her plan. So reluctantly he agreed and Sharpay filled him in on the plan that would crush Miss Montez.

The next day Gabriella was waiting for Troy after school he was doing extra practice with his father for the up comming champsionship, yes for the past year her and Troy were stil going strong, both were so in love with each-other that they thought they would be together forever. At least Gabriella did.

10 minuted later Gabriella heard the gym doors open and she expected to see her loving-perfect boyfriend come out and greet her. But what she got was the opposite. Troy did come out but looking like a red faced maniac. He stormed up to her and pushed her into the lockers near-by.

"Is it true?" he shouted at her.

"Is what true Troy?" whimpered Gabriella who was in pain and truly confused.

"Did you sleep with Ryan?"

"Of course not Troy, who told you that? You know I love you and only you" said Gabriella who had now got up off the floor.

"Ryan and Sharpay, and they also told me you were just using me to be popular." screamed Troy.

"Why would you believe people who never even like me?" demanded Gabriella

"They promised me it was the truth and they said that they read your diary" Troy argued.

"I don't have a diary and i never slept with Ryan I promise you, I love you Troy" cried Gabriella who had tears streaming down her face.

"Yeah right you lying slut, i never want to see you again you whore" screamed Troy, and slapped her hard across the face, pushed her into the lockers and walked away. Secretly horrified at what he ahd done. But it was too late his heart was broken and his pride was satisfied.

When Gabriella walked got home that night, her eyes were raw red and her cheek was still stinging. All she wanted to do was go to bed. Her mother had just left for a business trip. so it was just her and Alessandro. When she walked into her living room, she jumped when a loud unfamilliar voice screamed at her.

"Where have you been, you little slut" boomed Alessandro

Gabriella who was in shock at hearing her step-father scream at her reliped fearfully

"At school"

"Fucking some guy" screamed Alessandro

"No I.. w...was jjust llate" whimpered Gabi.

"Do not talk back you slut" and then he walked up to her a slammed her into a wall, and then kept kicking her in her stomach extremely hard.

Gabriella who was barely conscious could tell he was drunk cause he wreaked of alcohol.

"You will show me respect Gabriella"

With that he left her on the ground nd walked away like nothing happened.

END FLASHBACK

Now you know what Sharpay's plan was and that it was successful, well almost. Gabriella might have lost Troy, but he still didn't want her. So was her plan really successful?

Over the next 2 months, the whole of East-High turned her back, even the gang, who took Troy's side. Gabriella was pushed into lockers, tripped, bullied had nowhere safe to go anymore. She was losing hope and fast.

But it was today where Troy noticed something wrong with Gabriella. He still hated her or so his pride kept telling him, but he was still worried.

He was walking along the corridors with Chad and Jason when they spotted Gabriella at her locker. Chad and Jason walked over to her pulled her away and then rammed her back into the lockers. Both of them walked over and high-fived Troy and then started to walk away, when Troy decided to turn to look at her. What he saw chilled him.

He saw that her face was basically one big blue and b lack bruise and that her left arm was exactly the same as her face. But when he saw the girl he onced love on the floor looking so broken, his heart possibly broke into a thousand more pieces. He wanted to turn back and help her, kis her, hold her and tell her how much he loved her but his pride wouldn't let him. Little did Troy know that he would regret this decision forever.

Gabriella got home that afternoon, to her step-father witing for her on the couch.

"Your home late again Gabriella, haven't you learnt, now you'll just have to be punished".

Alessandro started to slap, puch and kick Gabriella, who was trying desperatley to get out of his grasp.

"Stop fighting it you slut"

Gabriella who was starting to feel weak, suddenly couldn't breathe because Alessandro had broken her ribs. He kept abusing her for 10 minutes until he delivered one last punch. This punch was fatal. It collied with Gabriella's already bleeding temple and that was it.

The once loved, beautiful, smart, innocent girl was gone. Forever.

Sharpay Evans whop after trying to woo Troy for the past 2 months finally gave up, after realising that Troy's heart will always belong to Gabriella was going to his house to apologise and confess to Troy the truth.

Taking a deep breath, she knocked on his door, and was greeted by a depressed looking Troy.

Why was Troy depressed i mean after all he dumped Gabriella and treated her horribly, it was the fact that Troy still loved Gabriella with all his heart and seeing her in pain that day had almost broken him.

"Hey Sharpay" mumbled Troy

"Troy can i come in there's something you need to know"

"ummm sure" said Troy and stepped aside allowing Sharpay in.

It took an half an hour for Sharpay to tell Troy the truth and during his face displayed different emotions.

"You mean Gabriella never cheated and used me, so shes been suffering for 2 months" screamed Troy.

Sharpay looked down at the floor ashamed and weakly nodded.

"How could you do that, i hurt my innocent baby Brie over a lie" demanded Troy who had tears streaming down his face.

He didn't give Sharpay time to answer he was already out the door sprinting to the Montez household to apolohise to his love for everything.

He arrived at Gabriella's house 10 minutes later. What he saw almost killed him. Her house had yellow crime scene tape wrapped all the way around it. He was so scared what if something had happened to his Brie?

He tried to get past the tape but an officer stopped him and told him to stand back. He turned to face the front door when he heard a man shouting. 2 officers were leading Alessandro Cruz out of the house in handcuffs.

"What are you doing?" screamed Alessandro

"i've done nothing wrong"

"You are under arest for the murder of Gabriella Montez, we have witnesses who saw you beat her to death" replied an officer in an icy-cold tone.

Troy couldn't breathe, Gabriella, beaten to death? No surely not. But then it all made sense.

Gabriella's bruises, her looking so broken.

"She needed me and i ignored her, tormented her" Troy thought to himself.

He saw the medics wheel out a body under a white sheet, and without a second thought and a sudden surge in strength he charged toward the strectcher and before anyone could stop him, he tore of the sheet.

There was his angel. His perfect angel. Covered in blood and bruises. His perfect, beautiful, innocent angel. The angel he should've believed and protected. The angel he'll never get to see, hold or kiss again.

"Brie, my Brie" he cried as he clutched the lifeless, broken body to his chest.

It was then 2 officers escorted him from the yard and from the embrace of his beloved. It was too much for Troy. He ran to the beach cliffs, which was once their place, and stood at the edge.

"Why? Why my Brie. She didn't deserve this. WHY?" Troy shouted at the sky, which was now forming a grey colour, much like Troy's eyes now. Not the perfect cerulean blue, now a dull grey.

"I want my brie back". Troy sobbed

"PLEASE" he cried

Troy looked up at the sky once before he leapt of the edge and fell towards the rocks below.

The whole school found out the tragic story of the 2 teens the next day. They also learnt the truth about Gabriella and that she was innocent all along. Everyone felt horrible about the way they treated her. But one person felt the worst. The ice-queen.
